Culvert Replacement to Cause Highway 102 Closure in Bentonville

June 18, 1998 – A contractor for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will be replacing a concrete culvert on Highway 102 between U.S. 71B and Highway 72S in Bentonville beginning at 1:00 a.m. Saturday, June 20, according to Dan Flowers, AHTD Director.

The construction will necessitate closing Highway 102 while work is taking place. The highway will be closed and a detour will be in place until late Sunday night, June 21, weather permitting. The highway will be opened immediately after the project is complete.

Motorists should use Highway 71B and Highway 72S as an alternate route during the construction period.
