Inspection to Cause Intermittent Lane Closure on I-430 Bridge

LITTLE ROCK (11-6) -- Crews from the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will be performing a routine inspection on the I-430 Arkansas River Bridge beginning November 9, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

The bridge inspection is scheduled to begin Monday, November 9 and continue each day for approximately one week, weather permitting.

To accommodate the equipment, intermittent closures of both the north and southbound outside lanes will be required between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day. The lanes will be open and normal traffic flow will resume at the end of each workday.

Motorists may want to use alternate routes or allow extra time during the repair period.
