Lanes on Highway 183 to be Closed During Bridge Demolition

LITTLE ROCK (11-12) – Demolition of a railroad bridge over Highway 183 south of Bryant, will cause intermittent closing of the highway on Friday, November 13, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

The abandoned bridge will be removed beginning at 9:00 a.m. on Friday and will continue throughout the day until 3:00 p.m. The removal of the bridge will cause lane closures on Highway 183 of up to 15 minutes at a time.

Motorists may want to use alternate routes or allow extra time during the repair period.
