AHTD to Hold Meeting in Ashdown


LITTLE ROCK (5-26) -- The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session to discuss the proposed construction of an Ashdown Bypass, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers. The informal session will be held Thursday, June 10, 1999, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the AHTD’s Public Involvement Trailer located at Red Oak Baptist Church at Red Oak Drive and Dr. Martin Luther King Boulevard in Ashdown.

The public is invited to visit anytime during the hours to view exhibits and offer comments. Aerial photographs of the study corridors will be displayed and Department personnel will be on hand to discuss the proposed project and answer questions.
