Notice to MediaHighway Maintenance Projects to Cause Lane ClosuresLITTLE ROCK (6-4) -- Crews from the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will continue repairing highways in Central Arkansas next week, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers. The first project involves the shoulders along Highway 67/167 in Jacksonville. Crews will continue the repair work on the southbound inside lane of the highway on Monday, June 7 and continue through the day, weather permitting. The repair area is located between Vandenberg Blvd. (Exit 11) and Redmond Rd. (Exit 8). The second project involves the westbound right lane on I-40 between the Highway 161 exit and the North Interchange. Crews will be making pavement repairs to the Interstate on Tuesday, June 8. To accommodate the equipment, one lane of traffic will be closed between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on both projects. All lanes will be open and normal traffic flow will resume at the end of each workday.
