Highway Maintenance Project to Cause Lane Closure

LITTLE ROCK (6-8) -- Crews from the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will continue maintenance work on Highway 67/167 in Jacksonville on Thursday, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

The project involves repairing the shoulders along the highway in Jacksonville. Crews will continue the repair work on the southbound inside lane of the highway on Thursday, June 10 and continue through the day, weather permitting. The repair area is located between Vandenberg Blvd. (Exit 11) and Redmond Rd. (Exit 8).

To accommodate the equipment, one lane of traffic will be closed between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. on the project. All lanes will be open and normal traffic flow will resume at the end of the workday.

Motorists may want to use alternate routes or allow extra time during the repair period.
