Median Repair to Cause Lane Closure on I-430 Arkansas River Bridge

LITTLE ROCK (7-9) -- Crews from the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will be repairing the glare screen on the I-430 Arkansas River Bridge median beginning Tuesday, July 13, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

The repair of the median glare screen will force the closure of the inside southbound lane on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, weather permitting. To accommodate the equipment, traffic will be restricted to the outside two lanes between 9:00 a.m. and 3:00 p.m. each day. The lane will be open and normal traffic flow will resume at the end of each workday.

Motorists may want to use alternate routes or allow extra time during the repair period.
