Ramp Closure Scheduled on I-55 at West Memphis


LITTLE ROCK (7-20) - A contractor for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will close the southbound off-ramp at the Martin Luther King Interchange (Highway 38/Club Rd.) on I-55 in West Memphis beginning at 5:00 a.m. Friday, July 23, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

The ramp will be closed for approximately one week in order to reconstruct the ramp. Motorists should use the I-40 Ingram Boulevard off-ramp during the reconstruction period.

Southern Pavers, Inc. of Pine Bluff, Arkansas is the contractor on the project. The entire project is expected to be complete later this year.
