Lane to be Closed on I-30

LITTLE ROCK (8-20) – A contractor for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will periodically close one lane of Interstate 30 between Bryant and the Highway 70 exit beginning Monday, August 23 at 9:00 a.m., according to Dan Flowers, Director of the AHTD.

Beginning Monday morning, a moving closure on the right lane of the Interstate will be required to allow the contractor to stripe the Interstate. Only a short distance of roadway will actually be closed while the striping takes place.

The work will continue throughout the day until approximately 3:00 p.m. Monday afternoon when all lanes will be reopened to traffic.

Motorists may want to use an alternate route or allow extra travel time during the lane closure.
