Notice to MediaMaintenance to Cause Lane Closures on I-440 Arkansas River BridgeLITTLE ROCK (8-26) -- Crews from the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will be performing routine maintenance on the I-440 Arkansas River Bridge Sunday, August 29, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers. Beginning at 7:00 a.m., weather permitting, the inside and center lanes of eastbound I-440 on the bridge will be closed to traffic. Crews will be sealing cracks with a polymer sealant. The lanes will be reopened as the sealant dries and all work should be complete by 3:00 p.m., Sunday afternoon.
