I-530/Highway 65 Repaving to Cause Lane Closure

LITTLE ROCK (10-21) – A contractor for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will repave the southbound lanes of Interstate 530/Highway 65 south of Little Rock beginning Saturday, October 23, according to Dan Flowers, AHTD Director.

The overlay project will necessitate closing the inside southbound lane between Dixon Road and 145^th Street starting at 6:00 a.m., Saturday morning and continuing throughout the day until approximately 9:00 p.m., weather permitting. Crews will begin repaving the outside lane on Sunday morning beginning at 6:00 a.m. and continue until 9:00 p.m. that evening.

Motorists may want to use an alternate route or allow extra time during the project period.
