AHTD to Remove Northbound Exit Ramp on Interstate 530/Highway 65


LITTLE ROCK (11-8) -- The Exit 10 northbound ramp on Interstate 530/Highway 65 at Highway 167 in Saline County near East End will be removed on Monday, November 15, 1999, according to Dan Flowers, Director of the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department.

AHTD crews will begin removing the existing pavement at 9:00 a.m. Traffic will not be affected during the removal of the ramp. The ramp has been closed to traffic since September 23, 1999.

Northbound motorists wanting to exit onto Highway 167 must use Exit 9 and cross over the Interstate to access the southbound lanes. The southbound exit ramp to Highway 167 will not be affected by this ramp removal.
