AHTD to Hold Meeting in Jonesboro

   LITTLE ROCK (12-28) -- The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session to discuss the reconstruction of Arkansas Highway 18, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

   The informal session will be held Tuesday, January 18, 2000 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the AHTD’s Public Involvement Trailer that will be parked at Steve’s Sales located at 6211 East Highland in Jonesboro.

   The public is invited to visit anytime during the hours to view exhibits, plans and offer comments.  The proposed project begins at Highway 18 Spur and continues 4.4 miles to the east.  Conceptual plans will be displayed and Department personnel will be on hand to discuss the proposed project and answer questions.
