AHTD To Hold Meeting in Marked Tree 


            LITTLE ROCK (5-02) – The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session to discuss the upgrading of U.S. Highway 63 beginning at Marked Tree in Poinsett County and ending at Interstate 55 in Crittenden County, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

             The work will consist of upgrading the section of U.S. Highway 63 to four-lane Interstate standards including frontage roads with full access control.

             The informal session will be held Tuesday, May 9, 2000 from 4:00 p.m. to        7:00 p.m. at the Tyronza Elementary School Cafeteria located at 412 S. Main Street in Tyronza.

             The public is invited to visit anytime during the hours to view exhibits and offer comments.  An aerial photograph will be displayed and Department personnel will be on hand to discuss the proposed project and answer questions.
