I-40 Lane Closure Planned at Morgan

            LITTLE ROCK (5-31) – Work on I-40 will cause temporary lane closures on a portion of the Interstate in North Little Rock starting Friday night, according to Dan Flowers, Director of the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD).

            Both the eastbound and westbound inside lanes of I-40 at the Morgan overpass will be closed on Friday, June 2 beginning at 8:00 p.m. and continuing through Saturday morning at 11:00 a.m., weather permitting.  The lane closures are needed to allow for removal of a temporary median barrier wall.

            Motorists may want to use alternate routes or allow extra time during the construction period.
