Lane Closure Scheduled on Highway 10 (Cantrell Road) Overpass

   A contractor for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will be repairing expansion joints on the Highway 10 (Cantrell Road) railroad overpass near Junior Deputy Park in Little Rock for the next few weeks, according to Dan Flowers, AHTD Director.

    A single, eastbound lane will be closed beginning Wednesday night at 6:30 p.m. throughout the evening until 6:30 a.m. Thursday morning.  The same schedule will be followed each day through Saturday morning July 8.

    The repair work will begin again on Sunday night at 6:30 p.m. and will continue until 6:30 a.m. Monday.  The same timetable will be followed each day through Friday, July 14, weather permitting.

    Beginning again on Sunday night July 16 a single lane will be closed each day from 6:30 p.m. to 6:30 a.m. the following day.  Work will continue through Friday, July 21 at 6:30 a.m.

    Motorists may want to use alternate routes or allow extra time during the construction period.
