AHTD to Hold Meeting in Rogers

            LITTLE ROCK (7-31) – The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session to discuss the proposed reconstruction of U.S. Highway 62 in Rogers, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

            The informal session will be held Tuesday, August 15 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Rogers Municipal Airport (Carter Field) in Hanger #3.  The airport is located at U.S. Highway 62 and Airport Drive in Rogers.

The proposed project is located on Highway 62 beginning at the junction of State Highway 94 and U.S. 62B and ending at the west city limits of Avoca.

            The public is invited to visit anytime during the hours to view exhibits and offer comments.  Conceptual plans will be displayed and Department personnel will be on hand to discuss the proposed project and answer questions.
