AHTD to Hold Meeting in Dumas


            LITTLE ROCK (8-21) – The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session to discuss the proposed reconstruction of U.S. Highway 65 in Dumas, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

            The informal session will be held Thursday, September 14 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Dumas Community Center located at #18 Belmont in Dumas.

The proposed project is located on Highway 65 beginning at the north city limits of Dumas and continuing through town to the south city limits.

            The public is invited to visit anytime during the hours to view exhibits and offer comments.  Conceptual plans will be displayed and Department personnel will be on hand to discuss the proposed project and answer questions.
