Lane to be Closed on Highway 67/167 in Jacksonville

   A contractor for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will close one lane of U.S. Highway 67/167 at Jacksonville on Wednesday and Thursday, November 8-9, according to Dan Flowers, Director of the AHTD.

    Beginning Wednesday night at 6:00 p.m., a single lane closure will be required for asphalt paving at the southbound Vandenberg Boulevard exit ramp, weather permitting.  The Vandenberg Exit will not be closed during the paving process.

    The work will continue throughout the evening until approximately 6:00 a.m. Thursday morning when all lanes will be reopened to traffic.  Work will continue again Thursday night beginning at 6:00 p.m. and continue until midnight Thursday.

    Motorists may want to use an alternate route or allow extra travel time during the lane closure.
