Lane to be Closed on Highway 67/167

LITTLE ROCK (11-14) – A contractor for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will close one lane of U.S. Highway 67/167 on Thursday and Friday, November 16-17, according to Dan Flowers, Director of the AHTD.

    Weather permitting, work will begin Thursday morning at 6:00 a.m.  A single northbound lane closure will be required for asphalt paving at the Highway 5 exit ramp near Cabot.  The Highway 5 exit will not be closed during the paving process.

    The work will continue throughout the day until approximately 12 noon when all lanes will be reopened to traffic.  Work will continue again Friday morning beginning at 6:00 a.m. and continuing until noon Friday.

    Motorists may want to use an alternate route or allow extra travel time during the lane closure.
