Lane to be Closed on Highway 67/167

   LITTLE ROCK (11-28) – A contractor for the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will close one lane of U.S. Highway 67/167 on Thursday and Friday, Nov. 30-Dec. 1, according to Dan Flowers, Director of the AHTD.

    Weather permitting, work will begin Thursday morning at 6:00 a.m.  A single northbound lane closure will be required for pavement striping at the Highway 5 exit ramp near Cabot.  The Highway 5 exit will not be closed during the striping process.

    The work will continue throughout the day until approximately 2:00 p.m. when all lanes will be reopened to traffic.  Work will continue again Friday morning beginning at 6:00 a.m. and continuing until 2:00 p.m. Friday.

    Motorists may want to use an alternate route or allow extra travel time during the lane closure.
