Repair Work to Temporarily Close Highway 187 Bridge Over Table Rock Lake

            LITTLE ROCK (4-11) -- Crews from the Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department will continue to make minor repairs to the Table Rock Lake Beaver Bridge on Highway 187 next week, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

            To accommodate the equipment, the one-lane suspension bridge will be closed to traffic during certain periods of the day.

The bridge repair is scheduled to begin Monday, April 16 at 12:00 noon and continue throughout the day until 3:00 p.m.  Repairs will continue again on Tuesday and Wednesday between 8:30 a.m. and 3:00 p.m.  Work will begin again on Thursday at 8:30 a.m. and continue until 12:00 noon when all the repairs should be complete, weather permitting.

            The bridge will be open and normal traffic flow will resume at the end of each workday.
