AHTD To Hold Meeting on Highway 167 Reconstruction 


        LITTLE ROCK (5-4) – The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session to discuss the reconstruction of U.S. Highway 167 between Batesville and Ash Flat, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

        The proposed project is to add two northbound sections and three southbound sections of passing lanes on Highway 167.  The informal session will be held Monday, June 4 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Sharp County Courthouse in Ash Flat. 

        The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view conceptual plans and offer comments.  Department personnel will be on hand to discuss the project and answer questions.
