AHTD To Hold Meeting on Butler and Leatherwood Creek Bridge Improvements

           LITTLE ROCK (10-15) - The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session to discuss proposed bridge improvements on Highway 187 in Carroll County, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

          The proposed project will replace the bridges crossing Butler and Leatherwood Creeks on Highway 187 northwest of Eureka Springs. This project does not involve proposed improvements to the Table Rock Lake Bridge on Highway 187 at Beaver.

          The informal session will be held Thursday, October 18 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Beaver Fire Department and Community Building located at 900 Main Street in Beaver.

          The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view conceptual plans and offer comments.  Department personnel will be on hand to discuss the project and answer questions.
