AHTD to Hold Meeting on Highway 65 Improvements

        LITTLE ROCK (11-26) - The Arkansas State Highway and Transportation Department (AHTD) will conduct a public involvement session to discuss proposed improvements to U.S. Highway 65 from Highway 1 to Tillar in Desha County, according to AHTD Director Dan Flowers.

          The informal session will be held Thursday, December 13 from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Reed City Hall, which is located at the corner of East Rogers and  Highway 65 in Reed.

          The public is invited to visit anytime during the scheduled hours to view an aerial display of the proposed project and offer comments.  Department personnel will be on hand to answer questions.
