Construction Requires John Harden Drive Detour in Jacksonville

PULASKI COUNTY | June 2, 2023

Construction to widen Highway 67 to six lanes between Main Street and Vandenberg Boulevard in Jacksonville requires a temporary detour of John Harden Drive.

Weather permitting, crews will close John Harden Drive from Braden Street to John Hardin Drive Tuesday, June 6 through Friday, June 30. This will allow construction crews to perform drainage work along John Harden Drive. Business access along the closed portion of John Harden Drive is available from John Hardin Drive.

Detoured traffic will take Braden Street to John Hardin Drive to continue south on John Harden Drive. Detoured traffic needing access to Main Street will take Braden Street to Marshall. Detours will be signed. See detour map NR 23-154-A for additional information.

Traffic will be controlled with message boards, detours signs, and barricades. The public is advised to be cautious when traveling in the work zone and watch for slower traffic speeds. Areas adjacent to the Interstate may experience noise impacts during nighttime hours.

This project (Job CA0604) is part of ARDOT’s Connecting Arkansas Program and includes widening 2.5 miles of Highway 67 to six lanes, between Main Street (Exit 9) and Vandenberg Boulevard (Exit 11) in Jacksonville.
